Our Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for the management of capital projects, including construction and renovations, which impact all facets of Adelphi University life, including academic, administrative, residential, advancement and alumni relations.

The office plans, coordinates and oversee cross-functional projects done by internal teams which include Facilities Management, Information Technology, University Communications and Marketing, and Public Safety, and external sources including construction managers and general contractors. The Project Management Office (PMO) serves as the University’s liaison with local government building and permit offices, and also ensures the efficient use of resources, through coordinated planning and creation of project timelines.

Vision Statement

The PMO oversees projects within its scope to ensure alignment with a defined set of high standards to execute capital projects that are successful by every measure through standardization and good practice.

Mission

The mission of the Project Management Office at Adelphi University is to bridge the gap between operational strategy (doing the right things) and managing projects successfully (doing things right); to assist with the alignment and selection of projects (at the right time); and to allocate the appropriate resources based on project scope, type, timeline, and impact to the University. Our mission is to do the right things, the right way, at the right time for the benefit of our University and community.
