The University has developed procedures and policies to safeguard and maintain an environment conducive to the learning process.

The Code applies to all members of the University community, as well as all others on University premises.

The ability and freedom to teach, learn and develop depends upon appropriate opportunities and conditions in the classroom, in the residence hall, elsewhere on campus and in the greater academic community. The University has developed procedures and policies to safeguard this process and to maintain an environment conducive to the learning process.

The Code of Conduct provides details on the established procedures to adjudicate all academic and non-academic disciplinary complaints, ensure due process and handle policy violations.

According to the Adelphi University Anti-Discrimination, Harassment (including Sexual Misconduct/Title IX) and Retaliation Policy, students who are involved in the Title IX complaint process may be referred to the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards for resolution of the complaint in accordance with the Adelphi University Code of Conduct.
